French National Parks started as a personal project: one poster per park, built around an emblematic place and the natural heritage that defines it. I wanted each image to show the beauty of the landscape while keeping people in the picture, hiking, scuba diving, skiing or paddling, because that is how most of us experience these places.

Gallimard Jeunesse came across the posters, and the idea of a book took shape from there.
Parcs Nationaux, written by Florence Thinard and illustrated by me, was published in 2026. It covers all 11 French national parks, with the posters plus a double-page spread for each park explaining what makes it unique.
