In 2022, I went in the Westfjords, the north-west part of Iceland to document for an upcoming book about the importance of glaciers. I spent my time there in Isafjördur, exploring, sleeping on a sailboat and watching the weather turning from autumn to winter.
It is there that I met Haukur.

Haukur Sigurdsson is a talented photographer whose work is intimately intricate into the Westfjords. In 2023, he reached out to me to ask if I'd like to make a travel poster for Isafjordur.
And so I did, helped by the impressions with what this magical place had left in my mind and Haukur wonderful photos.
